PRE & POST CARE
PRE-PRODECURE:
Powder Brow/ Combination

Avoid alcohol & caffeine 24 hours before your procedure.
-
Do not take any blood thinners including but not limited to, coumadin, aspirin, ibuprofin, niacin, fish oil or Vitamin E 3 days prior to your procedure.
-
Avoid chemical peels and laser treatments within 60 days of your treatment.
-
Injections (botox, radiesse, juvederm, voluma, etc.) must be done at least 4 weeks before your procedure.
-
Avoid Retinol/Retin-A 6 weeks prior to procedure.
-
Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, threading and tinting your brows for 2 weeks prior to the procedure.
-
Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
POST-PRODECURE:
Powder Brow/ Combination

Wash brows with a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a paper towel.
-
Apply rice grain amount of ointment 2-3 times a day.
-
Avoid hot showers or getting the brow area wet (besides washing them) for up to 7-10 days after procedure.
-
Do not pick, rub or scratch off any flaking or scabbing.
-
Avoid exercising for up to 7 days after the procedure, this can result in pushing the pigment out with excessive sweating.
-
Avoid makeup on the brow area for 7-10 days. This is an open wound and can cause infection.

Avoid sun and tanning for 7-10 days after the procedure, wear a hat and sunglasses if you are going to be in the sun. This can cause the color of the pigment to change and can affect healed results.
PRE-PRODECURE:
Lip Blush

Exfoliate lips for 3 days prior to procedure. Keep lips hydrated with lip balm or Vaseline. Drink a lot of water.

If you have any history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes simplex, it is strongly recommended to contact your physician to obtain and take the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks for at least 4 days before and after the procedure. Follow your physician's instructions.
POST-PRODECURE:
Lip Blush

Avoid spicy and or seasoned foods and drink through a straw.
-
After every meal, gently rinse and clean lips with water and pat dry with a paper towel, then reapply ointment.
-
If lymphatic fluid occurs, pat with a paper towel and reapply ointment. If you let the fluid sit and get dry it will result in scabbing.
-
Do not saturate your lips with water; wash them twice a day with a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a paper towel.

Do not take hot steamy showers for 7 days.
-
Keep your lips moisturized with the ointment.
-
Avoid excessive sweating or sun exposure for 10-14 days.
-
Do not pick at any flaking or scabby patches on the lips, this will affect the pigment and the healing process, keep them moisturized and trust the process!

If the lips are very swollen or bruising occurs, us an icepack (wrapped in something clean) or take ibuprofen.
-
Do not use any makeup on the lips for 1-2 weeks to avoid irritation or cross contamination.
-
Do not have a facial or any other beauty treatments for 4 weeks as your skin will not be healed enough.
-
The better you follow the after care, the better your results are going to be and the longer it will last.
